Philosophy:
After successfully completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from King’s College in Pennsylvania, Melissa spent two years working in Health Care Administration in New York City. She provided administrative support within a private medical practice, as well as managerial guidance in hospice care. Melissa went on to complete her Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport: College of Naturopathic Medicine. She was fortunate to spend her internship hours training with Drs. Ashley Lewin, Peter D’Adamo, and David Brady.
Throughout the six years she has been in the naturopathic field, Melissa has exemplified her passion for medicine. From the time she was eight years old, she’s had a passion for the healing arts.
“My fascination for science, combined with the utmost desire to help others, have drawn me to medicine. The patients and medical staff which I have met along my journey have strengthened my commitment to naturopathic medicine,” says Melissa.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, she strives to work with patients to optimize health and well-being, while using methods that are non-invasive and gentle.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, trying new restaurants, and sweating at her local Pilates studio.
